She can have multiple roles and be understood differently by everybody around her. Identity is not defined by rigid rules but by internal and external perceptions that constitute the images around a person depending of its social context. Who is She? What it is being a woman? What is our relation towards power structures? This painting depicts the natural states of dualities that can mark the selfhood of women as she can be as a Saint as much as evil, victim or bearer of power, free or subjected, or even them all at the same time depending the situation.
